Universal M57- ZF6/8HP Auto Engine and Gearbox mounting kit for Defender

This is a universal mounting kit for M57N and M57N2 combined with ZF6 or ZF8 speed automatic gearbox mounting kit for Land Rover Defender. Picture is of the full engine mount kit supplied with weld on chassis brackets for engine mountings. Gearbox mountings are bolt in option.

All kits are designed so the transfer box is located in the factory PUMA / TDCI position. This means for TDCI models you will not have to alter the gearbox mounts on the chassis. For all other models you will be supplied gearbox mounting brackets that you can bolt to the chassis using existing holes just as the factory 200TDI gearbox mounts were bolted on. (Note on Td5 models you will need to cut the gearbox mounts off the chassis so you can bolt on our new gearbox mounting that are supplied.)

These kits are extremely universal and can be used with both steel and alloy block M57 engines and work for both 6 and 8 speed automatic gearbox options. Following donor car models this will fit-

• X5 E53, E70 both single and twin turbo versions
• E90, both 330D and 335D models. Also including 325D models
• E60, 530D and 535D models both steel and alloy block. Also including 525D models
• X3 E83
• E65 730D both steel and alloy block models.

If your Defender model is not listed or you are using the kit for another type of vehicle then you can select Pre-300 TDI option as it comes with every part to make it a universal kit then.
