M57 manual wiring harness for Ford Transit

Standalone body harness for fitting BMW M57 engine into Ford Transit. Custom length harness unlike other universal ones on the market and has a choice of throttle pedal connector either original BMW or Ford transit TDCI OEM throttle pedal, 2006 onwards.(MK7/Mk8 type pedal)

Body harness consists of throttle pedal connector, OBD port, ECU connectors, rubber grommet to go through fire wall, inputs and outputs as follows-

Ignition live, permanent live feed, oil pressure light output, alternator light output (If available depends on ECU type) RPM output for aftermarket universal gauge,

Additional items can be added to the harness to help with the install if you do not like wiring,

We offer fuel pump relay and BMW OEM fuel pump connector as an additional option if you do not have the donor vehicle it is these maybe handy to be pre-wired into the harness.

For M57 engine models with 2 main ECU plug connectors we supply the smaller main power plug separate. If you have a full donor BMW vehicle you do not need this connector as you can use the original from the BMW donor vehicle. If you need this connector then select ‘Yes’ to the power connector option on the bottom of the loom builder selection tabs.

ECU selection help,

For all early M57 engines, engine number 306D1 select DDE4 for ECU type.

DDE 4 ECU’s can be identified as they have 5 connectors on the ECU

Whereas DDE5/6 engine are 306D2/D3/D4/D5 engine codes and will have 2 connectors on the ECU.
