This kit is designed to fit the original Land Rover Defender radiator for Td5 and TDCI models.

Electric fan controller is 38mm diameter. We find this covers both 35mm and 38mm hoses as you can strech the 35mm on the hose adaptor if needed.
Coolant sensor port in the electric fan controller is M10 x 1 thread. We use the Stack coolant gauges which has a sensor with this tread.
Due to the using such a large high-powered fan please ensure you have enough clearance space from the front of the engine to the radiator. The photos show example fitment of the fan kit with a BMW M57 engine using the 6/8speed automatic using our fitting kit in the factory TDCI mounting position. Due to the different engine positions other suppliers of mounting kits and people fabricating their own. If you mount the engine further forward you may not have clearance for the fan. As a guide measuring from the centre line of the radiator core to the back of the fan motor, it will add around 145mm.
